The Dixie horn or "Dixieland" musical car horn is the trademark of the Duke's General Lee. The General Lee was a 1969 Dodge Charger. In some scenes, 1968 and 1970 models were also used. It had either a 426 Hemi or 440 cubic-inch Magnum V-8 engine (depending on the model used). There were actually 309 General Lees, most of which were destroyed. It is estimated that only 20 General Lees were left in good condition. The license plate of the General Lee was Georgia plate CNH 320.
