Block-It Noah Features All-Weather Protection Using Film Barrier Technology

Block-It Noah® fabric is a high-tech, bonded 4-layer composite uses bi-component sheath core technology for twin spunbond outer layers, a film barrier, and a soft bi-component spunbond inner layer. The construction and film barrier technology used in Block-it Noah makes it an ideal cover fabric.

Protective Outer Layer

Both outer layers are bi-component spunbond, using sheath core technology. Each individual fiber has a polypropylene inner core for strength, with a polyethylene wrap for softness insuring that your vehicle is not damaged in any way. The light gray color doesn't attract heat and the fabric is treated with UV inhibitors for extended outdoor use making this an outstanding car cover for high-intensity sun environments.

Micro-Porous Film Middle Layer

The barrier layer is a breathable film, a proprietary stretch-film technology developed exclusively for Kimberly-Clark. The film is stretched, and then subjected to a chemical process that creates microscopic holes smaller than droplets of water or dust, yet large enough to allow moisture vapor and heat to escape. This helps reduce the bulk of the non-woven fabric, while providing an almost solid barrier against the elements.

Soft, Paint-Protecting Inner Layer

Another bi-component spunbond, this one made with polyethylene and nylon. The combination results in an exceptionally high strength-to-weight ratio, with the "soft touch" necessary for today's water based automotive paint finishes.
